Two weeks into summer and we have already sipped homemade lemonade from stripey straws, developed tan lines, run in the sprinkler, eaten Popsicles for brunch, run around in our bare feet, been caught with Watermelon juice dripping off our chins, stayed up past our bedtimes, lounged by the pool and have even caught a few lightning bugs. What have you all been up to? I hope you are loving summer too!

Dear Summer, I Love You
Two weeks into summer and we have already sipped homemade lemonade from stripey straws, developed tan lines, run in the sprinkler, eaten Popsicles for brunch, run around in our bare feet, been caught with Watermelon juice dripping off our chins, stayed up past our bedtimes, lounged by the pool and have even caught a few lightning bugs. ohmigoodness i'm so jealous! your summer so far sounds perfect. i miss lightning bugs. i have a few tan lines from outside runs and bicycle rides but we haven't really warmed up to summer temperatures yet. those will come in a few months. i'm most looking forward to a family visit to the cottage in michigan and then the farm. then i'll have summer details to share. :-)
